Report: Raiders To Start McCown, Not Daunte

MSNBC:The Oakland Raiders will start Josh McCown and not Daunte Culpepper at quarterback when they open the season Sunday against the Detroit Lions, the NFL Network reported Wednesday.

ESPN earlier said that Culpepper would start, but then began to back off that assertion.

Meanwhile, for an organization that prides itself on secrecy, the Raiders are having a fun time trying to keep their starting quarterback from the public.
